Getting Back to Me — Rediscover Joy
Jaco Beach, Costa Rica January 13–18, 2027
You missed out!

Join Me for a transformative retreat
for women who are done playing small and ready to step fully into their joy. Last year we focused on healing — this year, we’re going further. This is about rediscovering the parts of you that got lost along the way: your confidence, your spark, your sense of adventure.
Are you ready to tell everything holding you back to “Get Outta My Way”?
From January 13–18, 2027, escape to the sun-soaked coastline of Jacó Beach, Costa Rica for “Getting Back to Me — Rediscover Joy.” This isn’t just a getaway — it’s an adventure. Six days of thrills, sisterhood, laughter, and real talk designed to help you reconnect with what makes you feel alive.
Picture yourself racing through lush rainforest on an ATV, discovering the art of chocolate-making, letting a confidence photoshoot remind you of how powerful you are, and watching the sun melt into the Pacific from the deck of a catamaran. And every evening, coming back to your sisters around the fire pit to process it all.
You’ve done the healing. Now it’s time to live. You deserve this.

“
Before the retreat, I was stressed and overthinking everything. I procrastinated packing, brought way too much and didn’t sleep the night before we left. I came back rested, refreshed and resolute to not let others dump on me emotionally. I have continued to prioritize my mental and physical health like I learned during the retreat. I have reminded myself that I have to put myself first so I can be my best self.
Andrea

“
The night before the trip I felt excited and looked forward to relaxing time.
The last night of the trip, I felt blessed and worthy. I received so much insight about myself and Costa Rica. I love trying new foods, getting another stamp on my passport. Also, something simple as being in Houston for the brief short time was exciting.

What happens if you don’t take this time for yourself?
- Frustration Builds: Without a break, the daily grind will continue to drain your energy, leaving you feeling stuck and unfulfilled.
- Missed Connections: You’ll miss the chance to connect with a supportive sisterhood of women who understand your struggles and celebrate your wins.
- Delayed Healing: Postponing self-care means lingering stress, unresolved emotions, and missed opportunities to feel like you again.
Life won’t slow down for you. It’s time to take charge and invest in your well-being.
This isn’t just a trip — it’s a turning point.
Six days packed with adventure, connection, and the kind of joy you’ve been putting off. Here’s what you’ll gain when you join us in Jacó:

I was excited. I went back and read my journal and got happy reading how I felt. I came back knowing more about me. Learning how positive affirmations make me feel as well as others. Positive affirmations really help your mood and overall spirit. It also made me realize how much negativity I was experiencing in my life from those around me. I now wake up speaking positive affirmations, waking my organs and stretching my body like Dr Larry showed us. I am more aware about what I put in my mouth and on my body.
I enjoyed every last bit of this retreat. There’s nothing I would change. The concierge, chef, Shawn & Nina were great!

- Swimwear for the catamaran cruise and beach time
- One all-white or confident-color outfit for your photoshoot day
- A night-out outfit for our evening in Jacó
- Sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat

Travel Plans
Flights Are Not Included
You’ll need to arrange your own flights to Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José, Costa Rica. Make sure your passport is valid for the entire length of your stay, and you’ll need to show proof of a return flight upon arrival.
Airport Transfers
We’ve got you covered with a group shuttle from SJO to Jacó, our retreat property. The shuttle will depart the airport at 12:00 PM on January 13th, so we recommend arriving by 11:00 AM to allow plenty of time to collect your luggage and meet the group. The drive takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, offering a scenic introduction to Costa Rica’s Pacific coastline.
Departure Details
On January 18th, the shuttle will depart at 9:00 AM and arrive at SJO by approximately 10:30 AM. We recommend booking a return flight that departs in the late afternoon or evening to give yourself plenty of time for check-in and security.
Optional Early Arrival or Extended Stay
If you’d like to avoid the morning rush on arrival day, you can fly in a day early and spend the night near the airport. Hotels like the Hampton by Hilton or Marriott offer free shuttles to SJO, or you can explore budget-friendly options like Airbnb (some as low as $25 per night). This is a great opportunity to rest, relax, and maybe even explore San José before the retreat begins!
The same applies for your departure — if you’d like to extend your stay in Costa Rica, we’re happy to help with recommendations.
Passport Requirements
Before you travel, double-check that your passport meets the following requirements:
- Validity: Your passport must be valid for the entire length of your stay.
- Blank Pages: Ensure you have at least one blank page for entry stamps.
- Tourist Visa: Not required for stays under 180 days, but you must have a return ticket.
Please verify your passport and travel documents well in advance to avoid any issues at immigration. For more details, visit the official Costa Rica immigration website HERE.
